Netflix’s One Piece live-action series is finally here, and we’re finally talking about it! This week on Rookie Pirate Radio, Jon Negroni (me) and Travis Hymas recap One Piece Season 1 Episode 1, titled “Romance Dawn.” And if you’re a total newbie to the crew, don’t worry, we keep our discussion spoiler-free and focused in on the episode itself. We chat about the casting, costumes, action sequences, easter eggs, what we like, what we dislike, and what this series could mean to the broader One Piece community and then some.

You can start watching the One Piece live-action series here.
