One Piece First-Timers: East Blue Saga [Podcast]

By February 21, 2023March 12th, 2024No Comments2 min read

Jon Negroni is on a well-earned vacation, so Rookie Pirate Radio is holding off on chapter reviews until he gets back. In the meantime, InBetweenDrafts EiC Allyson Johnson and Games Editor Evan Griffin sit down with Travis Hymas to talk about what their experiences have been getting started with One Piece. We compare reading the manga to viewing the anime, early impressions of the series overall, and whether or not they’re enjoying the voyage. Towards the end we discuss other methods of catching up on old series and have the classic “manga versus anime” discussion.

We want your feedback! If you have any questions, corrections, or your own theories and speculation, please leave us a comment below. Or join our Discord and message us in the One Piece Spoilers Chat channel. We’ll be back soon to discuss One Piece 1075 and beyond. In the meantime, be sure to subscribe to Rookie Pirate Radio on your favorite podcast app, so you can stay up to date on all our releases.
