Rejoice, Richmond fans! Our first glimpse of Ted Lasso Season 3 dropped this morning. Watch it below.

Here’s the official synopsis for Season 3:

“In the 12-episode third season of “Ted Lasso,” the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the “wonder kid,” has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. In the wake of Nate’s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt). Meanwhile, while Ted (Jason Sudeikis) deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley (Juno Temple) navigates being the boss of her own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.”

Season 3’s cast includes:

  • Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso
  • Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton
  • Juno Temple as Keeley Jones
  • Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent
  • Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard
  • Nick Mohammed as Nate Shelley
  • Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins
  • Phil Dunster as Jamie Tartt
  • Toheeb Jimoh as Sam Obisanya
  • Sarah Niles as Sharon Fieldstone
  • Anthony as Rupert Mannion

The end of Season 2 saw Richmond rejoining the Premier League, but with wins come losses as well. Nate betrays Ted and the team to join Rupert at West Ham as their new manager, creating even more drama on and off the field for both teams.

Ted Lasso premiered in 2020 and its positive message about teammates and kindness made it one of the best shows that year. Season 2 deconstructed Ted’s overly positive attitude by focusing on the team’s mental health. It also saw a relationship between team owner Rebecca and Richmond player Sam.

Ted Lasso Season 3 premieres on March 15 on Apple TV+.
